Fliss decided to turn her illustrations into 3D by sewing each character herself back in 2002. From Penguins to Foxes and self made characters her toys fell quickly into the Craft movement and she gained recognition for her unique creations.
With a sell our window installation at Craft Victoria to a pattern published from the creator of Meet Me at Mikes - Pip Lincolne, Fliss kept illustrating but couldn't keep up with the demand so headed to Bali and sourced an ethical production house to turn her illustrations into 3D. Using end of runs from an Italian fashion label she kept true to her ethos of recycling and ventured into the imaginary world of Cape and Mask sets for children.
Each run was super cool, individual and gnarled a following for many years.
Fliss has designed, styled and photographed each one of her ranges.
